Learn how to integrate your sales and marketing teams

Attention all marketers: The American Marketing Association — Birmingham will be hosting its monthly luncheon, this time featuring Lisa Beck of The Beck Agency, who is a management analyst, project manager and trainer.

This event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Nov. 17 at The Harbert Center, 2019 Fourth Ave. N, Birmingham. Cost is $20 for members, $30 for nonmembers and students are $10.

Beck will tackle the idea of the dueling departments: sales and marketing. Often, each believes the other does not understand their world, when in reality, an integrated approach will benefit both parties. “Learn why and how it’s always better to have a unified front instead of an us versus them mentality.”

Beck has worked with community banks and small businesses through process change, assessing staff and managing projects. She’s able to identify issues and opportunities and then provide options for improvement and execution.

Beck lives in Mountain Brook with her two children.
