Bring your presentation skills to next level with Dale Carnegie Training

September 17, 2010

Here at Dale Carnegie Training of Birmingham, Alabama, we thrive on the success stories of the clients that participate in our programs. Recently, we had a very bright young man come to us for help during his medical school application process.

His background had proven that he was capable and willing to become a great physician, but every time he went up against the panel of people who would decide his entrance into medical school, his presentation suggested otherwise. Therefore, he was attempting to get in for the third time when he approached Dale Carnegie Training about helping him polish his skills and really knock the panelists’ socks off.

We worked with him during several coaching sessions, helping him to improve his body language and word choice so that he could present himself in the most professional and positive way possible. After completing his training with us, this gentleman went up against another panel, and received glowing feedback from one of the panelists in particular, who just so happened to be the dean. While he won’t know till December if he got in this time around, we are confident that he did and are very proud of his growth and progress.

This success story is a powerful reminder of the impact Dale Carnegie Training can have on a professional or educational career. Perhaps, like this gentleman, you’re trying to get into medical school, or even business school. Perhaps you’ve been working for a company for 10 years and recently find yourself dealing with customers face-to-face when before you were simply doing administrative work.
